Status of Fujitsu Group Plants Affected by the Tohoku Earthquake
(updated as of April 14, 2011 - changes indicated in bold).
Fujitsu Plant Location Business Operations Follow-Up
Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited (FSL) - Iwate plant Iwate Prefecture (Isawa-gun, Kanegasaki-cho) Fab - semiconductor manufacturing (front end) - Although operations had partially restarted as of April 3, the plant is currently in the recovery process and assessing damages caused as a result of the earthquake which hit the coastal part of Miyagi Prefecture on the evening of April 7, 2011.
- We are looking to resume operations at 100% production capacity by around April 20, 2011. In addition, we will newly start 20-30% of the production process at the Mie plant (Kuwana-shi, Mie Prefecture) of FSL.
Fujitsu Integrated Microtechnology Ltd. (FIM) - Miyagi plant Miyagi Prefecture (Shibata-gun, Murata-machi) Fab - semiconductor manufacturing (back end) - Operations have partially resumed as of March 23, 2011. Currently, all regular operations have resumed.
- One part of the production process will newly start at the Kyushu plant of FIM (Satsuma Sendai-shi, Kagoshima Prefecture) and Nantong Fujitsu Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (Nantong, Jiangsu in China).
Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited (FSL) - Aizu-Wakamatsu plant Fukushima Prefecture (Aizu-Wakamatsu-shi) Fab - semiconductor manufacturing (front end) - Operations have partially resumed as of March 28, 2011. Currently, all regular operations have resumed.
Fujitsu Semiconductor Technology (FSET) Fukushima Prefecture (Aizu-Wakamatsu-shi) Fab - semiconductor manufacturing (front end) - Operations had partially restarted as of March 28, however had stopped due to the earthquake which hit the coastal part of Fukushima Prefecture on the evening of April 11. Operations have partially resumed again as of April 14, 2011.
- We are looking to resume operations at 100% production capacity by around April 20, 2011. In addition, we will newly start 20-30% of the production process at the Mie plant (Kuwana-shi, Mie Prefecture) of FSL.
Fujitsu Integrated Microtechnology Ltd. - Main plant (FIM) - Aizu HQ and plant Fukushima Prefecture (Aizu-Wakamatsu-shi) Semiconductor testing center - One part of the testing process has resumed operations as of March 18, 2011. Currently, all regular operations have resumed.
- One part of the production process will newly start at the Kyushu plant of FIM (Satsuma Sendai-shi, Kagoshima Prefecture) and Nantong Fujitsu Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (Nantong, Jiangsu in China).
Fujitsu Isotec Limited (FIT) Fukushima Prefecture (Date-shi) Manufacturing of desktop PCs, PC servers, and printers. [PC servers]
- Resumed operations as of March 23, 2011.
- Fully operational at 100% production capacity as of March 28, 2011.

[Desktop PCs]
- One part of the production process has resumed operations at Shimane Fujitsu Limited (Shimane Prefecture Hikawa-gun) as of March 23, 2011.
- Operations have partially restarted as of March 28, 2011.
- The part of the production process moved to Shimane Fujitsu Limited will be transferred back to FIT starting April 18, 2011.

[Printers]
- Resumed operations as of March 22, 2011.
Fujitsu Telecom Networks Limited (FTN) - Furudono plant Fukushima Prefecture (Ishikawa-gun, Furudono-machi) Manufacturing of power supply units, power supply facilities and power supply testing devices. - Resumed operations as of March 22, 2011.
