The earthquake has affected the operations of the Fujitsu Group as follows:
In accordance with the Fujitsu Group's disaster recovery measures, a disaster response headquarters has been established, with President Masami Yamamoto acting as head chief, to collect information on the safety of all Fujitsu Group employees and on the extent of damage sustained by Fujitsu Group facilities and its customers. Damages to buildings and production equipment including the ceilings, walls, and drain pipes of the Fujitsu Group's plants and offices have affected business operations. Furthermore, planned rotational electricity blackouts have affected operations of Fujitsu Group companies based in the Kanto region of Japan.

The amount of loss and effects on profits as a result of the earthquake are currently unknown. Fujitsu will promptly make an announcement should these effects be significant.
