1950s: Rapid Growth


Aug 1950 Monthly production of telephones reaches 5,000 units.
May 1951 Production of electronic computing machines begins. Electronic calculation machine is delivered to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government office.
Apr 1952 Technical cooperation with Siemens resumes.
Aug 1953 Manufacture of radio communications equipment begins.
Apr 1954 Production of electronic devices begins.
Oct 1954 Japan's first relay-type, automated electronic computer, the FACOM 100, is completed.
