The communications division of Fuji Electric (now Fujitsu Electric Holdings Co.) was spun off to form the Fuji Tsushinki Manufacturing Corporation in June 1935. The name was changed in 1967 to Fujitsu Limited.
The Fujitsu Group refers to Fujitsu Limited and its consolidated subsidiaries and affiliates throughout the world.
Fujitsu is a leading provider of customer-focused information technology and communications solutions for the global marketplace. Our principal business segments are: Technology Solutions (comprising a wide range of IT system and network products, solutions and services), Ubiquitous Solutions (including PCs, mobile phones, and mobilewear), and Device Solutions (principally logic LSI and electronic components).
