Hi-end 8-bit personal computer FM-11 was released in 1982 as an upper model of the FM-8. In business fields, there were increasing demands for computers equipped with functions for high-speed processing of large amounts of data, advanced Japanese-language processing, and advanced high-speed graphic functions; and this machine was developed to be a high-performance personal computer capable of sufficiently answering the needs of business applications.
