Both, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server(SLES) are supported based on a dual-version strategy: The current and the predecessor version of the respective Linux derivate are supported for Fujitsu’s entire PRIMERGY and PRIMEQUEST server lines. This means that not only the latest operating system version can be used with state-of-the-art PRIMERGY systems but also ensures that the most current PRIMERGY systems can be well integrated into existing datacenters.

Linux is an integral part of Fujitsu’s Dynamic Infrastructures portfolio. Dynamic Infrastructures provide flexible IT capacity – made possible through the dynamic IT resource allocation based on the consistent usage of IT standards and the provisioning of flexible IT delivery models.
