® Server 2011 is cost optimized for multi workplace computing and its licensing is available in different versions. The academic version, designed for educational organizations, allows connecting up to 20 users. The standard and premium versions for SMEs are limited to 10 respectively 20 users max. Up to 100 workplaces are supported by using full blown Windows
® Server 2008 R2 or Microsoft
® Windows
® Small Business Server, vSpace™ and an appropriate infrastructure. In addition licenses for applications as well as client access licenses (CAL) are needed.
