Fujitsu Welcomes Over 50 SELECT Circle Members from across Europe to Win Value Business

Fujitsu CEMEA&I

Munich, October 23, 2014 Fujitsu is building momentum in its value-added channel business, hosting a two-day SELECT Circle Symposium in Athens, Greece, where it welcomed CEOs and sales leaders from its top value channel partners from across Europe. Fujitsu’s ‘invitation only’ SELECT Circle addresses enterprise resellers, value resellers and systems integrators in particular, enabling them to capitalize on data center, storage, solutions and cloud opportunities in key regions, and particularly in the mid-market and large enterprise segment. Fujitsu’s consistent and clear approach to building a strong channel business is valued by these key channel partners, during a time of much uncertainty about vendors and structural change across the industry.

SELECT Circle CEOs and sales leaders are now competitively armed, based on a solid understanding of the business opportunities presented by Fujitsu’s vision of a Human Centric Intelligent Society and its innovative solutions designed to achieve it, including the recently announced appliance for VMware EVO:RAIL. They attended workshops on solutions such as SAP Infrastructure Solutions, ETERNUS CS Data Protection, Cluster-in-a-Box 2.0, vShape Virtualization Reference Architecture, HPC, and the FUJITSU Server PRIMEQUEST systems.

The event also set the stage for the launch of Fujitsu’s new SELECT Circle Japan Pipeline Incentive. Seven SELECT Circle partners who will have best met their pipeline and revenue targets will be invited to an exclusive trip to Japan to visit Fujitsu Forum in Tokyo in May 2015.

Fujitsu is working closely with SELECT Circle members to enable them to provide better customer service resulting in longer-term client relationships, via customized skills development, support and mentoring, and lead-generation resources. They are now also able to unlock Fujitsu resources for their sales and pre-sales managers, essentially giving them access to the same training as the company uses for its own internal pre-sales employees.

Availability

Already available across Europe Fujitsu SELECT Circle will roll out across Asia and the Americas in 2015.

Notes to Editors

The SELECT Circle Community benefits from:

  1. Demand generation that exclusively positions channel partners under specific conditions as Fujitsu’s partner-of-choice.
  2. New Unique Selling Proposition (USP) Introduction Workshops that show channel partners how to position innovative Fujitsu solutions, intended to highlight Fujitsu’s USPs in comparison to those of other vendors.
  3. Three-Day Community Workshops. As these kinds of datacenter-focused channel partners are typically running long-term, consulting-intense projects with 12-18 month project lifecycles, their datacenter sales and pre-sales specialsts must be briefed by Fujitsu’s R&D departments on long-term roadmaps of the product and solution portfolio.
  4. An exclusive SELECT Circle Japan Pipeline Incentive focussing on generating qualified pipeline and granting the winners the possibility to attend the Fujitsu Forum in Tokyo in May 2015.
  5. A Channel Deal Registration Tool, that allows the SELECT Circle members to register their Fujitsu deals.
