Net is the customer and interest group newspaper of Fujitsu in Finland. It comes out four times a year. The web version in Finnish comes out simultaneously with the paper version, while the English version is published bi-annually.

Sandvik Tamrock's all locations to enter Fujitsu's Patja service

Drilling and excavation products manufacturer Sandvik Tamrock has renewed and extended its Patja contract with IT services provider Fujitsu Services Oy. The new three-year Patja IT infrastructure services contract covers all in all 950 workstations.

The Hospital District of Southwest Finland joins the regional information system, Fiale. The new service will considerably facilitate and speed up health care work, as physicians have instant access to test results and patient data - also those collected in district's other hospitals.

Huurre Group Oy to enter Fujitsu’s Patja service in Finland

Refrigeration specialist Huurre Group Oy transfers its IT infrastructure to Fujitsu Services Oy’s Patja service. The 4,5-year outsourcing contract brings some 200 workstations and 28 servers to Fujitsu’s management. In addition, two IT specialists from Huurre transferred to Fujitsu as of the beginning of September.

IT partnership deepened by new contract between Valio and Fujitsu

Finnish largest dairy company Valio Oy has signed a contract with its long-term IT partner Fujitsu Services Oy on the continued provision of IT services. The new agreement covers a wide range of Valio's IT needs from 2006 to 2008.

MacGREGOR outsources IT function to Fujitsu Finland

MacGREGOR has decided to outsource its IT function according to the Sohva operating model to Fujitsu Services Oy. MacGREGOR aims to improve its flexibility for future resource demanding IT projects and services. The IT function is located in MacGREGOR’s Kaarina, Finland unit, which is also responsible for the operations of MacGREGOR’s Dry Cargo division.

Beverage company Oy Hartwall Ab has entered into agreement with the IT services supplier Fujitsu Services Oy on the implementation of the new SAP ERP system.

Fujitsu Finland implements renewed web service for the city of Turku

Turku, the fifth largest city in Finland, renews its web service in collaboration with Fujitsu Services Oy. The solution is built on NetCommunity, a communications solution developed by Fujitsu, which it delivers as a service, and besides technical platform it includes availability and user support services. The agreement is worth over two million euros.

Fujitsu implements real-time Pocket Office to the Finnish Parliament

Fujitsu Services Oy’s upgraded Pocket Office mobile communication system will provide services in real-time for the members of the Finnish parliament. The new Pocket Office will mobilize the groupware for the members of the parliament, including email and calendar, among other things. The service will automatically push new emails and calendar events to mobile phone, without any user action.

Finland’s Ministry of Finance and the Prime Minister’s Office Outsourced to Fujitsu

Finland’s Ministry of Finance and the Prime Minister’s Office have outsourced their user support and the availability services for about 100 servers used in Government systems to Fujitsu. The agreement period covers three years with a one-year option.

Fazer and Fujitsu Finland sign SAP Agreement

Oy Karl Fazer Ab and Fujitsu Services Oy have signed a framework agreement that covers an SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system. Fazer Bakeries, part of Fazer Group, begins this co-operation with an SAP Project Delivery Agreement signed on 30 March.

Finpro’s IT Services outsourced to Fujitsu Finland

Finpro and Fujitsu Services Oy have signed a 3-year contract on outsourcing Finpro's IT services. With this Patja agreement Fujitsu takes over the maintenance of about 400 Finpro's workstations and 30 servers around the world as well as the global HelpDesk service. Five persons from Finpro’s IT Unit will move over to Fujitsu's employment.

Fujitsu to supply administrative information system project for Finnish Defence Forces

The Finnish Defence Forces have reached an agreement with Fujitsu Services Oy on alteration work to their administrative information management environment. The value of agreement is approximately 3.3 million euros and the specified tasks will be implemented until the end of 2006.

The Finnish State Treasury uses Fujitsu’s mPollux for authentication

Fujitsu Finland has delivered a centralized authentication and user management service to the Finnish State Treasury. The service is implemented using the Fujitsu-developed SDA mPollux security product. The authentication process is run as a service at the Fujitsu server centre and the State Treasury pays a fee for the service based on the number of authentication transactions.

Fujitsu and Medi-IT to introduce Patja operating model to hospitals in southeastern Finland

Fujitsu Services Oy and Medi-IT Oy, a company specialised in providing IT services to two hospital districts in southeastern Finland, have signed an IT service contract. According to the contract, Fujitsu will now manage the IT infrastructure of the South Karelia and Kymenlaakso hospital districts in collaboration with Medi-IT based on the Patja operating model.

Fujitsu Finland to provide IT and telecommunications services to Finstaship

The Finnish icebreaker service provider Finstaship and Fujitsu Services Oy have signed an agreement on the outsourcing of IT infrastructure and telecommunications services based on the Patja operating model.

Ramboll Outsources IT Infrastructure to Fujitsu Finland under a Patja agreement

Ramboll Finland (formerly known as SCC Viatek) has selected Fujitsu as its technology partner. According to the agreement, signed just before Christmas, Ramboll’s IT infrastructure will be transferred to Fujitsu under a Patja arrangement. A total of 630 Ramboll employees and an equal number of workstations will be included in the Patja service.

IT and communications technology group Yomi Software Oy transfers its IT infrastructure to Fujitsu's Patja service. The four-year agreement covers the management of 100 servers and services for 300 workstations in five Finnish cities.

A mobile ERP system pilot is underway at shipbuilder Aker Finnyards' shipyard in Turku. Supervisor transmits information on the progress of deck module transfers directly to the ERP system using Fujitsu's mProcess solution.
