Software service company Nice-business Solutions Finland Oy (Nice) strengthens its testing offering by acquiring software and mobile terminal testing business from Oulu based RTT Solutions Oy. Ownership will transfer to Nice August 1st, 2008.

The OP-Pohjola group and Fujitsu Services Oy have entered into a service agreement whereby Fujitsu will assume partial responsibility for the maintenance and development of the group's bank service systems. Fujitsu will apply its Sohva software partnership model in implementing the services.

Beverage company Oy Hartwall Ab and Fujitsu Services Oy have signed a three-year framework agreement on IT infrastructure services. The aggregate of services incorporates Patja IT infrastructure services and agreements on server availability, application services and project operations.

- Fujitsu first to be granted certificate for IT services management system
On April 2, 2008, Fujitsu Services Oy was awarded the certificate ISO/IEC20000-1:2005 which is an international IT management standard. Fujitsu is the first holder of the certificate in Finland and presumably in the Nordic countries as well.

- Fujitsu's managed services to cover IT infrastructure of the city of Espoo
Fujitsu Services Oy assumes the overall responsibility for the IT infrastructure services of the city of Espoo, the second largest city in Finland. The renewed agreement covers the IT infrastructure services for all the desktops of Espoo city employees, thus incorporating all in all some 10,000 workstations. The agreement is worth approximately 18,5 million euros and spans over a period of four years. The sum comprises also the costs of a year-long deployment project.

Itella Oyj and Fujitsu Services Oy have entered into an agreement on a three-year continuation of their partnership in IT infrastructure support services. The agreement will be implemented in accordance with Fujitsu's managed services operating model Patja, incorporating almost 7,000 desktops.

ICT services company Fujitsu Services Oy delivers card reader software to the Population Register Centre (PRC) for using certificate cards issued by it. The new card reader software is based on Fujitsu’s mPollux technology. The software delivery agreement was signed for five years.

- Fujitsu delivers national electronic patient record to the Social Insurance Institution of Finland
A supply consortium has kicked off a project with the aim to build an electronic patient record system and electronic prescription centre. Kela (The Social Insurance Institution of Finland) and Fujitsu Services Oy signed an agreement in September on the delivery of the massive nation-wide project.
