Finland Fujitsu to implement a SAP production system to Berner

Berner Ltd has signed a delivery contract with ICT services company Fujitsu Services to expand Berner's existing SAP system to cover the production operations.

Berner has four facilities in Finland. The trading company with wide-ranging operations in manufacturing, import and marketing is strongly expanding to the Baltic Sea area, in particular to Sweden and Estonia where its subsidiaries are located. Along with other industries, Berner is among the major importers of cosmetics in Finland. The extensive assortment of brand name cosmetics include Rimmel, Kanebo, Revlon and Clarins.

Berner has previously used SAP-based financial and payroll management. The company's SAP system will now also include production planning and management of the facilities, procurement management, inventory management, quality management, product development, sales operations at the facilities, and product cost accounting.
