ICT service provider Fujitsu Services Oy implemented a web-based real estate system to OP-Kiinteistökeskus.
"The Kipinä (Sparkle) -real estate system automates real estate agent's routines while keeping them up-to-date on active projects. This frees up the agent's time to the actual work, which is to fulfil the client's assignment. Kipinä is also a great tool for the management as it facilitates monitoring, and brings added efficiency to sales management", says Vice President Kimmo Auvinen of Osuuspankkikeskus real estate services.
The new system will be utilised by 430 real estate agents at the 70 OPKK companies, and by the professionals at OP-tarkastus, Tilipalvelu and OPK Asuntopalvelut.
The real estate system is used on a clear and easy-to-use web-based user interface. The system authenticates its users and thus enables agent-specific reporting. After a closed deal it takes the commission invoices automatically to SAP. The system has been implemented using Microsoft's -.NET technology.
Kipinä functions wirelessly and securely on 3g-, gprs- and EDGE networks. This allows the agent to make entries into the system while visiting the client's house, at apartment showings or in the car. Commission agreements can be printed out on a portable printer regardless of place. New contacts from a Sunday showing can be easily entered in the system while sitting on your living room couch, for example.

OP-Kiinteistökeskus is the largest real-estate agency chain in Finland, through which 16,500 private apartments and other real estate property were sold in 2005, the highest number in Finland. More than 430 real estate professionals are employed at the 70 companies and the total of 160 offices of the chain. OP-Kiinteistökeskus also provides real estate renting and assessment services as well as guidance regarding housing and real estate sales.
