Drilling and excavation products manufacturer Sandvik Tamrock has renewed and extended its Patja contract with IT services provider Fujitsu Services Oy. The new three-year Patja IT infrastructure services contract covers all in all 950 workstations.
Thereby Patja manages the IT of all of Sandvik Tamrock's five Finnish locations.
Sandvik Tamrock has relied on Patja as long as since 1999. The third continuation contract preceded a competitive bidding and will become effective as per the beginning of next year.
"The competitive bidding taught us that we wouldn't gain anything by switching service suppliers. Patja has turned out to be flexible for the needs of our large corporation. Competent resources are available to us at all of our locations, while we also know each other well, so we have a fertile ground on which to further build our long-standing collaboration", explains IT Director Jouni Hämäläinen of Sandvik Tamrock.
