Fujitsu Finland and Nordic Business Forum on a lookout for Digi Leader of the Year

Digi Leader of the Year will be selected for the first time in the event’s history! Cast your vote!

Helsinki, lokakuu 04, 2016

Fujitsu Finland Oy is one of the main partners at this year’s Nordic Business Forum, October 6–7. This marks the first time in the event’s history that Digital Leader of the Year will be selected among ten accomplished nominees.

Since it first started in 2009, Nordic Business Forum has quickly grown to become one of the most noticeable business events, and also this year it sold out.

”Our goal is to solidify our position as the versatile, knowledgeble and innovative digital ICT partner. The industry solutions we showcase at the event aptly support our brand proposition "Shaping tomorrow with you". We build innovations based on people’s needs, combining our physical environment with the value chain of digital technology. We are building a digital world where people are able to benefit from all available information and to make new insights,” says Head of New Business Development, Glen Koskela of Fujitsu.

In co-operation, Fujitsu and Nordic Business Forum will conduct a Digi Survey to establish the state of digitalization in the Finnish organizations and business world. In connection with taking the survey you can also cast your vote in selecting Digi Leader of the Year. The voters will choose between ten nominees a person who has significantly contributed in advancing digitalization. The winner will be announced at noon on Friday October 7th at NBF press room.

•    Take the Digi Survey and vote for Digi Leader of the Year

Dr. Josehp Reger, CTO of Fujitsu, will participate in Nordic Business Forum’s Live Stage group discussion.

In our partner area we will be showcasing several digital solutions that are currently being developed at Fujitsu and that have yet to be seen in Finland. The demos will extend from your everyday visit to a store to AI-based traffic planning. A few examples of the demos:

  • Real-time, intelligent, IoT-based traffic control and snapshot solution that combines analytics and real world events. Brings real-time traffic information available to maintain service levels in private and public traffic. Also helps in modeling and assessing the ever-changing situations. A system based on this solution is being built for traffic monitoring and control at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

  • A solution based on visible light, combining the real and virtual worlds. Suitable for retail businesses, for example. In a demo situation, the user may enquire additional information on the clothes on a mannequin by pointing it with a mobile device. The product is also available at online shop.

  • Deep learning that utilizes ”Zinrai” artificial intelligence technology, designed particularly for the financial sector. The solution utilizes automatic graphic networking model to identify inter-party data links and build relationship networks based on intricate connections. Helps to find connections that would otherwise be overlooked, such as possible inside training.
