Kela and Fujitsu enter into agreement on further development of Kanta Services

Fujitsu plays an important role in developing the services, also on the architecture level, in cooperation with Kela.

Helsinki, maaliskuu 16, 2015 Fujitsu Finland and Kela have signed an IT service agreement whereby Fujitsu will deliver support and development services related to the development and maintenance of the Kanta Services.

Kanta Services is an important, high-profile national project, which is set to further expand and evolve over the upcoming years. Currently under implementation is the so-called Kelain user interface designed for healthcare specialists, which allows them to write e-prescriptions, if there is no specific system for this purpose, for example.

Fujitsu plays an important role in developing the services, also on the architecture level, in cooperation with Kela.

”Fujitsu has long-term experience in the standards and implementations of the healthcare industry. We have been involved in the Kanta project launched in 2007 right from the start. We are happy that, thanks to our persistent work and outstanding project and service teams, we have managed to earn the customer’s trust. We will continue the important work with the Kanta Services,” says Director Pirjo Nissinen-Kiviranta of Fujitsu.
