Fujitsu strengthens their extensive cloud offering by launching a Nordic cloud service. With the new service, Fujitsu offers a choice of local, global and new Nordic cloud service.
Fujitsu's new Nordic cloud service positions itself between local capacity services and global cloud service. Fujitsu is the only ICT company to offer the cloud option of the customer's choice, thereby flexibly meeting their fluctuating needs.
”You would think it a given that cloud services offer specific clouds for specific needs. But in fact, no one has previously been able to offer such solutions. We deliver an end to end portfolio that enables us to deliver the best solution to meet our customer needs,” says development director Esa Aho.
The new Nordic cloud service differs from previous services by offering per-day scalability on capacity and pricing. Global cloud offers a per-hour offering and pricing model, while the shared and dedicated services are provided at a monthly fee.
Of course, this development stems from customer needs. The new service allows the delivery of capacity practically at once, and if the customer so wishes they will be granted a self-service interface.
”Fujitsu now comes with the strongest cloud offering on the market. We meet the needs of our customers by delivering the most versatile and comprehensive range of infrastructure services from the cloud (IaaS, Infrastructure as a Service) – with speedy deployment to customers. We dare to claim that our new services meet any types of needs, completely regardless, for example, of whether the customer wants self-service or end-to-end service,” says service development manager Ismo Pulli.
”We have been offering both local and global cloud services in Finland for as long as two years already. For instance, this new Nordic service model of ours is the perfect option in situations where fast deployment and pre-configured application packages are of great importance. And of course, as a mark of respect we serve our customers in all countries in their own language,” says Esa Aho.
”With Fujitsu Nordic cloud service we are able to provide our customers with quickly deployable and flexibly scalable capacity service. We are convinced of Fujitsu's sensitivity to our needs and ability to assist us in offering services to our own customers in a more efficient manner,” says director Pertti Simola of Samlink Oy.
With Fujitsu Nordic cloud service, customers are able to get from one vendor all ICT capacity related cloud services, such as a given amount of virtual server capacity and storage and backup capacity. The Nordic cloud service already has several customers and its use is gaining ground.
