General Description

The MB15F07SL is a highly integrated solution for the generation of stable, low noise, high frequency reference signals at a frequency of up to 1.2GHz for use as a local oscillator in modern digital or analogue communications systems.

Fabricated in Fujitsu's state of the art BiCMOS process UESBiC III, the MB15F07SL features integrated dual modulus prescalers, programmable CMOS dividers, low noise phase detectors and new programmable charge pump circuits. Programming is achieved over a three wire serial interface.

The MB15F07SL can be packaged in either 16SSOP, or in the new space saving 16BCC RF package.

  • Dual Modulus Prescalers programmable between 64/65 and 128/129.
  • Programmed over three wire serial bus.
  • separate RF/IF power down features(0.1uA current consumption) controlled by extra pins, long programming sequence not necessary.
  • -40 to +85deg C ambient operating temperature range.
