Digital Video Broadcasting

Multimedia

Fujitsu offers a comprehensive suite of Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) solutions for digital television applications.

The product portfolio includes the "SmartMPEG" Digital TV Decoder Family which is ideally suited for Set-Top Box, Personal Video Recorder (PVR), dual/twin receiver Set-Top boxes, Integrated Digital TV sets (IDTV), and other DVB applications.

Multimedia

The SmartMPEG family incorporates devices which provide the most cost-effective system solution for both Free-to-Air applications and for Pay TV. SmartMPEG has also been designed for PVR systems, which support such features as watch and record, fast forward, fast reverse, pause and slow motion.

Fujitsu's MPEG-2 Encoders together with SmartMPEG allow manufacturers to develop entertainment systems for home and in-car applications as well as semi-professional systems.

These devices are complemented by a growing family of ASSPs providing full high-definition (HD) H.264 video processing. The MB86H51 is the industry's first full HD H.264 High Profile Level 4.0 Video Processing LSI with memory in one package.
