Description

The Jade Evaluation Board is a modular system, which is comprised of a base board (the evaluation board itself), which offers all the main GDC interfaces, the push-fit 'XXS Video' board, which carries the MB86R01 'Jade' device itself and two further extension boards (Video IN and Video OUT). The Jade Evaluation Board constitutes a powerful, low power consumption development and evaluation platform for the latest Graphics Controller from Fujitsu.

Software

A simple Linux build system for the Fujitsu / mycable XXSvideo based hardware is available from sourceforge.net. The download includes the script and patches build toolchain (gcc-4.2, glibc-2.6), kernel (2.6.22) and root file system (busybox).

You will require a TFTP server installation to use the system (this is described in the board manual). The freeware TFTP server that we have tested and used can be obtained from the following link: TFTP32.
