Description
Fujitsu's MB86295 'Coral P' and MB86296 'Coral PA' evaluation boards (MB86295EB01/MB86296EB01) can be used in combination with the Lite5200 Evaluation Board ("IceCubeBoard") from Freescale/Motorola. The IceCubeBoard is based on a PowerPC MPC5200 and provides a single PCI slot. The MPC5200 is very popular in embedded high-end applications. This system, consisting of the MPC5200 and the MB86295 'Coral P'/MB86292 'Coral PA' is suited very well for embedded high end graphic applications which require a fast CPU and high-level graphics. Applications can be downloaded to the system via a serial or ethernet connection. Software examples, based on the IDE CodeWarrior from Metrowerks are provided. Creating your own graphics applications is very easy using the provided samples based on the CodeWarrior IDE. The initialization of the PowerPC (PCI-bus configuration) as well the Fujitsu API (interface to the MB86295 'Coral P' hardware functions) are implemented as libraries and are available.
