Graphics Controllers
Fujitsu’s family of graphics controllers provides optimised solutions for embedded graphic environments including car navigation,
head-up displays, console displays, virtual dashboards and mobile information terminals.
In addition to offering the world’s fastest embedded rendering capability, FME’s graphics controllers integrate a flexible layer concept, a wide range of 2D and 3D rendering functions, and provide support for screen resolutions of up to SVGA standard (1280 x 1024).

Acronym: 1)GE: Geometry Engine 2) N-GE: Non-Geometry Engine 3) XGA: 1024 x 768
1 Glueless connection of parallel CPU interface to SH 3 / 4, V832, Fujitsu FR CPUs
1-Internal Operation Clock:It is the clock that is provided to the internal blocks, such as Geometry and Rendering Engine.
2-Graphics Memory: It is required to provide a buffer memory for drawing and display frames, polygon drawings, Z buffering, display list and video capture. Scarlet and Olive have a built-in memory, while others use external memory with 32-bit or 64-bit bus width.
3-Geometry Engine: This engine processes the coordinates to perform operations such as Model View Port Transformation, Clipping, Back Face Culling and View Port Transformation. The use of geometry Engine off loads the Host CPU from carrying out these tasks.
4-Rendering Engine: The rendering engine performs functions such as texture mapping, figure drawing (primitive, polygons, triangles), anti-aliasing, bit map processing, alpha blending and others.
