Solms, Germany, 1st January 2010: Leica Camera AG awards Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe GmbH as Preferred Supplier 2009/10 for excellence in quality, competitiveness and cooperation.

CO2-Free LSI design - 100% Green electricity Office: Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe in Langen now sets an example by using green electricity from 2008 on. FSEU concluded a contract with the Stadtwerke Langen (municipal utility) for water energy supplied by a hydroelectric power plant in Norway. Water energy comes from 100% renewable energy and is absolutely emission-free.
Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe: Their activity is highly rated because it contributed to reducing CO2 and raising the corporate image by introducing large-scale green power in collaboration with local government for the first time in the region.
