KVM Switches
Today’s large-scale information technology infrastructure increasingly demands that PCs and servers of different platforms coexist. With this integration, it is now more important than ever before to offer efficient system management, easy software updating, and effective installation. Keyboard, Video, Mouse (KVM) switches and console drawers are two products that can be optimal solutions in such environments.
The Fujitsu Components’ KVM line up exists of a range of KVMs and console drawers with 2 to 16 ports. The 2 port KVM is specifically suitable for home and small office users, where as the 4, 8, and 16 port KVMs are suitable for server control sytems and data centers. The 16-port KVM can be connected to a maximum of 256 so called ‘slaves’.
