FEATURES OF THE SERVIS Lift-Up DRAWER
As server density increases
in today's server racks, it becomes necessary to reduce the size of any KVM solution whilst
at the same time increasing the functionality. Fujitsu's
latest addition to its Console Drawer range improves operability and visibility in the server room rack environment with
a newly developed 17-inch Lift-up drawer FD-5100 Series.
The FD-5100 series delivers further improved visibility and operability with a 17-inch TFT LCD (1280 x 1024) and inherits the operability and space saving compactness of the popular FD-1000 series (15" console drawer).
A flat operation surface is provided by a lift-up mechanism, allowing the keyboard/mouse operation area to rise automatically in co-ordination when the monitor is raised.
A new concept optical reflection mouse (slim card type) is incorporated as standard and delivers operability comparable to that of conventional optical mice.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: Touchpad is not working?
A: Leave everything powered up (Servers & Console drawer) and disconnect only the the K/B & Mouse connectors from the Master console port on the KVM switch and then reconnect the mouse first and then the K/B. Do not remove the Video.
Please note: DO NOT disconnect any cables from the servers, only disconnect the K/B & Mouse connectors from the KVM switch. The re-connection sequence of mouse first and K/B second is very important.
