FE-1000CW

Overview
Fujitsu expands its lineup of the SERVIS extender series to meet the demand of remote control solutions in the industry of manufacture, broadcasting and telecommunications in addition to the operation and management of servers.
SXGA (1280 x 1024) resolutions in Server management applications in recent years has become essential as such proper solutions to support high-definition images for larger-size and/or enhanced-quality screens are becoming essential.
Additionally, broadcasting systems require higher resolutions, the resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 dots, which is equivalent to the image quality for high-definition television (HDTV), has been commercially practical. In order to address these market needs, FUJITSU has developed SERVIS Extender FE-1000CW Cat5 Wide Band.
The SERVIS Extender Cat5 Wide Band is a remote console unit that can easily construct remote-controlable systems without any special software by utilising multi-use Cat5E UTP cables.
With the adoption of our original high-definition image transmission method, remote control performance has been enhanced approximately twofold that of existing models, allowing the extension of SXGA (1,280 x 1,024 dots) to 300m, UXGA (1,600 x 1,200 dots) to 200m or more, and QXGA (2,048 x 1,536 dots) up to 100m; this has never been achieved by conventional products before.
An RGB color-shift correction circuit (patent pending) is also incorporated to prevent blurred characters due to color shift and to provide clear and crisp images. In this way, a truly trouble-free environment can be implemented that is durable enough for long-hour operation and that provides image quality on the remote-installed console screens same as on the original screen.
FE-1000CW features in a compact and low profile design.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: Touchpad is not working?
A: Leave everything powered up (Servers & Console drawer) and disconnect only the the K/B & Mouse connectors from the Master console port on the KVM switch and then reconnect the mouse first and then the K/B. Do not remove the Video.
Please note: DO NOT disconnect any cables from the servers, only disconnect the K/B & Mouse connectors from the KVM switch. The re-connection sequence of mouse first and K/B second is very important.
