The ScanSnap S300 offers impressive scanning speedsat 150dpi of up to 16 images per minute in colour or black and white (8 images per minute when bus powered) or 8 pages per minute in simplex (4 when bus powered). Optical resolution is 600 x 600 dpi.

One button scanning and image enhancement
ScanSnap S300 provides a host ofautomatic image correction features to ensure superb scanning results. Load a stack of mixed documents into the 10 sheet capacity hopper and press the scan button. The S300 automatically recognises the size of each document, detects and corrects for skew and shows images in their proper orientation with blank pages removed.

Instantly create searchable PDFs
The ScanSnap S300 automatically converts scanned data into searchable PDF files that let the user quickly and easily locate images and find information contained within your documents using keyword searches.

Compact and mobile
Withan impressively small footprint the S300 is designed to be the smallest A4 ADF scanner that is truly portable. When an AC power source is not available the S300 can be powered through a PC's USB port.

Scan from business cards to A4 sized documents
ScanSnap S300 will cope with a variety of document sizes that will be displayed on screen in the size they were scanned. Business cards can be efficiently managed through the CardMinder software that allows capturing of information, which can then be exported to a database application like Outlook or Excel.

Easily view, organise and share
Scanned documents can be viewed as either PDF or JPEG files through the thumbnail viewer, allowing for quick browsing of scanned data and subsequent storage to online filing cabinets and distribution. QuickMenu also offers the ability to scan directly to a drive, to email, to a printer, or to an OCR application.
