Fujitsu appoints Sarah Kellett as retail industry consultant

Sarah Kellett (formerly Roper), a leading retail operations professional, has been appointed to the newly created post of industry consultant – retail at Fujitsu Services, one of Europe’s leading IT services companies.

London, 5th September 2006 — In her new role, Sarah will be focusing on the business issues and solutions that will deliver increased sales and reduced costs for retailers. These include infrastructure management, self-service, cash management and remote management of waste recycling, where she will be exploiting key learnings from Europe. Sarah will concentrate on bringing practical experience to play in the retail market, providing appropriate solutions for Fujitsu’s customers.

With 30 years’ experience in the retail industry, Sarah’s career has mostly concentrated on retail operations; working for leading department stores such as Bentalls, where she was the supply chain and operations director and Harrods, where she held a number of positions including merchandise systems coordinator and POS project team leader. Sarah’s most recent role, prior to joining Fujitsu, was solutions specialist for business development at Wincor Nixdorf.
