Fujitsu's Multimedia Products Deliver Advanced Solutions
Come along and meet Fujitsu at the ANGA Cable Trade Fair for Cable, Satellite & Multimedia in Cologne 22-24 May 2007 on Stand A19, Hall 10.2
Langen, Germany, 11th May, 2007 — Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe (FME) will be showcasing its new multimedia devices at the ANGA Cable Trade Fair for Cable, Satellite & Multimedia in Cologne 22-24 May.
Demonstrations of the company’s latest devices will include:
H.264 HD Codec (MB86H51)
- Excellent compression performance for full HD format.
- Low power consumption (750mW, typical) and high integration.
- No external memory required.
Portable TV based on SmartMPEG-C (MB86H35)
- SmartMPEG-C is the ideal solution for portable applications due to its low power consumption of less than 450mW (typical).
- The device is available in a package size of just 10mm x 10mm allowing devices with small form factors.
- Glueless connection to the LCD panel is provided through the digital RGB output.
PVR reference Set-Top Box (STB) based on SmartMPEG-C (MB86H35):
- This comprehensive PVR solution includes advanced features such as USB connection and picture-in-picture (PIP).
- The PVR STB runs Fujitsu's reference software SmartGO.
IDTV based on SmartMPEG (MB86H25B)
- This DVB-T receiver module is designed to be integrated into LCD television sets.
- Application software is based on Fujitsu's reference software SmartGO.
Fujitsu’s marketing and engineering teams will be available throughout the event to discuss the company’s multimedia technology and the potential applications areas for these new devices.
