Fujitsu has developed the FP-1000 standalone printer as a modular system. No matter whether you need the printer for ECR, kitchen printing, point of sales or any other application, Fujitsu offers a wide range of solutions. The FP-1000 is the new single station printer of Fujitsu measuring only 144(W) x 184(D) x120(H) mm (with external adapter) with a printing speed up to 180mm per second. Besides fast, the FP-1000 has also been designed to be very durable. The FP-1000 has a high reliability print head with a minimum printing life of 100km, a long-life cutter that offers min. 1.5 million cuts and a heavy duty mechanism with an MCBF of 60 million lines. All very impressive specifications wrapped in a small, well designed package and yet very affordable.

With the optional splash proof cover the printer is an excellent choice for kitchen printing. The printer position and the mounting abilities are important features for kitchen printing, naturally both have been taken in account. This has resulted in a bracket system that enables the printer to be used both horizontally and vertically. The printer has been equipped with a buzzer to inform kitchen personnel of new prints.

Even though every application has its specific requirements size is often one of importance. Naturally space has been one of the requirements for POS printing. Therefor Fujitsu has developed the FP-1000 in two versions. One version to accommodate the power supply internally and the other version with a separate power supply. This enables the usage of the printer in areas where space is limited.

Moreover, the printer is even designed to include a fiscal board which enables the usage of this particular printer for ECR applications with fiscal memory.
