Receipt and Journal Printers - FTP-602UCL/USL Series

Hoofddorp, March 31, 2003 — Fujitsu Components Europe B.V. released an easy solution for receipt and journal applications like banking, kiosk, parking and other ticketing applications the FTP-602UCL/USL Series.

Available for 2- and 3-inch paper, the printer comes in two options; semi-assembly mechanism with cutter and/or with paper winder, which can accept a maximum roll diameter of 83mm. Incorporating paper near end detect function, the printer includes a driver board for either Centronics or RS-232C.

The compact, yet heavy duty FTP-602UCL/USL Series offer high-speed printing of 80mm/sec, a high resolution of 8 dots/mm and operation at a low noise of 55 dB. Additional features include a silicon platen to reduce friction and make it possible to use very narrow paper or labels of different sizes, a closed gearbox construction an d a long life cutter capable of 500,000 cuts. The unit is designed for easy maintenance.
