Fujitsu Awarded Revenue Commissioners’ ICT Services and Support Contract

December 3, 2007 – The Revenue Commissioners, the Irish tax and customs authority, has awarded the contract for the delivery and support of certain ICT Services to Fujitsu with an initial contract value in excess of €3m. The contract, which is for a two-year period with the option of a one-year extension, was awarded following an open EU procurement process and is a strategic element in the delivery of Revenue’s ICT Strategy.

April 19, 2007 – Fujitsu Services has announced today that it is working with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) on an £80m transformational outsourcing arrangement to fundamentally change the way in which IT supports the business of the FSA. This arrangement is over an 8 year term and includes a no penalty cancellation option after 5 years.

Fujitsu hits NHS Connecting for Health 100% PACS milestone

London, March 31, 2007 – Fujitsu Services, the Southern Cluster lead in NHS Connecting for Health’s National Programme for IT (NPfIT) has delivered against a major milestone in the programme with its 100 per cent roll out of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System) on time and to budget. Fujitsu is contracted to deliver PACS and RIS to capture, store, display and distribute static and moving digital medical images such as X-rays and scans to enable faster and more accurate diagnosis by clinicians.
