Fujitsu Nordic joins Microsoft Corp.’s Cloud OS Network to provide clients with cost-efficient hybrid cloud solutions based on Microsoft technology. Fujitsu is an early member of the Cloud OS Network in the Nordic countries.
Fujitsu will provide a line-up of products and platform services based on the Microsoft Cloud Platform, which includes Windows Server 2012 R2 with Hyper-V, System Center 2012 R2 and Windows Azure Pack.
The Cloud OS vision provides a consistent infrastructure across customer datacentres, Fujitsu clouds and Microsoft Azure clouds, so the client can choose the cloud type freely. Fujitsu is also reinforcing it hybrid cloud initiatives that enable development of flexible combinations of public and private clouds.
For the client this also means that the services can be transferred from one location to another without restrictions. If operation costs in customer’s own datacentre become too high, the services can be taken over by Fujitsu, where capacity can be added according to needs.
This enables the client to quickly and flexibly respond to changes in business environment while continuing to grow.
