Fujitsu positioned as a ‘Leader’ in End-User Outsourcing Services

News facts:

  • Latest Magic Quadrant for Europe recognise Fujitsu in key strategic markets

Having held a leadership position for the past four years in both the Gartner Magic Quadrant: European Helpdesk Outsourcing and Gartner Magic Quadrant: European Desktop Outsourcing(1), Fujitsu today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “leaders” quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant: End-User Outsourcing Services, Europe(2). The report was published in August 2013 and is an “evaluation based on completeness of vision and ability to execute”.

Gartner defines ‘leaders’ as “[those who] perform skillfully. They have a clear vision of the market's direction and develop competencies to maintain their leadership. They shape the market, rather than follow it.” In the process of defining the Magic Quadrants, Gartner assessed suppliers across a wide range of criteria as well as interviewing a number of Fujitsu’s customers.

The report comes in another strong year for Fujitsu in this sector.  Fujitsu has focused on investment and development of desktop virtualisation solutions, whilst providing an increasingly global approach to providing End User Services (EUS) client solutions. Fujitsu’s vision has been to deliver customer value through a flexible and collaborative approach.

End-User Outsourcing Services

In Europe Fujitsu manage just short of 2 million physical devices, whilst supporting over 20 million individual customer contacts per year. The strategy for end-user outsourcing services is driving a strong focus on global alignment.

Fujitsu’s commitment to create globally designed and delivered services is showing growth in Europe, as well as improved delivery efficiency. By leveraging expertise in the Nordic region Fujitsu has built a large sales pipeline with a high win rate and strict “no bid” process. The pragmatic sales approach confirms Fujitsu’s focus on service and aims of further European growth.

Fujitsu have invested heavily in desktop virtualization and cloud services to drive innovation for end-users. The Fujitsu Managed Mobile Service provides and end-to-end global cloud service and is pay-per-device, showing a commitment for fresh thinking.

Hemminki Sääksjärvi, Director Solutions & Marketing, Fujitsu Nordic region commented “We believe Fujitsu’s placement in the leaders quadrant confirms our dedication to a changing client workforce and our commitment to facilitating a modern working environment. We consider Gartner’s assessment reflective of our European outsourcing vision and strategy.”

“Clients have praised the quality of our robust service delivery and collaborative approach” said Hemminki. “They also feel Fujitsu performs strongly with crisis management, governance and third-party management.”
