Fujitsu Services, a leading European IT services company, and AIFIn, the Italian Association for financial innovation, presented the results of the market analysis in innovating communication in branches, which involved the major retail financial institutes on their expectations and plans around the new branch concept and customer experience, but also on their expectations on the application of the newest digital communication platform in the design of the new customer experience for their customers.
The survey, which took place in July, has been directed to senior managers of the marketing and communication area of major Italian banks and covered banks owning the 47.1% of the branches in the whole Italian banking system.

During the Conference, attended by almost 100 representatives from Italian banks, the strategic importance of the branch has been confirmed both in terms of customer proximity and as a fundamental relationship platform.
During the meeting the role of the new communication platforms like Digital Media Networks and digital marketing communication tools has been discussed, confirming the high level of interest within the financial services environment on this kind of new media, allowing banks to facilitate their campaign deployment and creation processes, while improving the impact and reducing the costs for multiple campaign management
