ETERNUS3000 Disk Storage System - Proven High-Performance
In tests, the midrange disk storage system ETERNUS3000 has proven its excellent performance.
The Highest Performance in the World - 150,000 IOPS

The 2.8GHz processor in ETERNUS3000 speeds the internal processing. Making the most of this high-performance processor, the
capability of the internal buses and transfer rates of the cache memory are doubled to provide the highest bandwidth availability.
In addition, switches have been installed at the drive-end of the interfaces to significantly reduce protocol overheads and
reserve sufficient back-end performance for large-scale configurations.
The combined result of these comprehensive performance enhancements is the world's-highest performance for 150,000 IOPS.
High Performance Proven by SPC Benchmark-1™
Using SPC Benchmark-1™, a test that simulates user environments, ETERNUS3000 models 400, 600 and 600M have proven
to be very high-performing disk storage systems.
An Executive Summary and Full Disclosure Report on ETERNUS3000 test configurations, audited by SPC, are available at SPC Benchmark 1™ Results.

Unprecedented Result in SAP® Standard Application Sales and Distribution Benchmark
Fujitsu Limited currently holds the world record in SAP® Standard Application Sales and Distribution Benchmark.
Fujitsu Limited achieved an unprecedented score of 13,000 SAP® SD Benchmark users in the two-tier SAP Standard Application
Sales and Distribution (SD) Benchmark running Oracle 9i™ Database Release 2 on a system comprising Fujitsu's 128-processor
Solaris™-compatible SPARC®-based PRIMEPOWER™ 2500 server and ETERNUS3000 model 400 storage system with
120 disk drives of 73GB/ 15,000rpm. Breaking through the 10,000-user barrier for the first time, the achievement firmly places
PRIMEPOWER and Oracle 9i Database technology in the No. 1 position worldwide on this key performance benchmark. Fujitsu has
held this position since May 2003.
Summary
ETERNUS3000 storage system has achieved No.1 performance in a two-controller configuration. In addition to this, ETERNUS3000 provides excellent availability and scalability for the safe storage of corporate data, while contributing to reduction in the total cost of ownership (TCO).
