我们正在研究开发的下一代通信系统,包括移动通信和光纤通信。我们以大容量化和高速数据传输技术为核心,为实现更先进的下一代通信系统,与富士通以及中国的大学共同携手进行研究开发。
We are developing the next generation communication systems, which include wireless and optical communications. Taking the technologies of the large-capacity and the high-speed data transmission as a core, we are joining efforts with FUJITSU in worldwide and universities in China to conduct research and development to implement next-generation communication systems.

在我们周围存在着各种表现形式的信息载体,例如因特网、报纸和票据等,它们含有大量不同格式(如文本、图像、语音等)数据。我们正致力于研究开发对这些海量数据进行加工,并从中分析和抽取出有用信息和知识的技术。我们的研究领域包括:自然语言处理、WEB信息处理和多媒体信息处理。
There are different information carriers surrounding us, such as Internet, newspapers and bills, which contain abundant data in diverse format (text, image, sound etc.). We try to develop technologies that can process these mass data and extract useful information and knowledge. Our R&D areas are categorized in natural language processing, WEB information processing and multimedia information processing.

随着系统级大规模集成电路技术的发展,在高密度工艺制造的单块芯片上集成多媒体系统成为可能。
我们正从事数字影音产品先进IP核的开发,例如高性能、高质量、小尺寸和低功耗的视频编解码器和音频编解码器。
Modern advancements in system LSI have enabled multimedia system on a single silicon chip.
We are developing advanced IP core of system LSI for digital AV application, such as a video codec and an audio codec, with high performance, high quality, small size and low power consumption.
