DVB/DSS Frontend - Channel Decoder and Demodulator

Overview

Fujitsu's MB86A15 is a Single-Package Solution for Digital Satellite Broadcasting (DVB-S and DSS) that combines Tuner, QPSK Demodulator and Forward Error Correction (FEC).

It interfaces directly with the LNB signal at its input and to a MPEG decoder at the transport stream output. Due to the excellent performance, small size and low power consumption, it is ideally suited for all kinds of digital satellite receivers (Set-Top Boxes), PC-cards for DVB-S and satellite-ready digital VCRs.
