At present, Fujitsu’s digital TV solutions have been used widely in cable TV, terrestrial broadcasting and satellite TV as well as network surveillance. Its products cover the areas of demodulating chips, video decoding chips, codec/transcoding chips. Fujitsu’s digital TV solutions are ubiquitous both in standard definition and high definition set top box, PVR/DVR, Encoder/Transcoder, PND portable device and security monitoring devices.

Decoder Series
MB86H20B
This chip targets cable, satellite, and terrestrial market, and its independent hardware decoder can descramble/demultiplex 2 transport streams at the same time. It also equipped with 24-bit true color OSD menu, supporting EPG Menu, Program Edit, Parent Control, OTA upgrade. It has already been successfully integrated with mainstream Browser, Data Broadcasting, Stock, Middleware, CAS which can largely reduced the cost of digital TV and set top box.
MB86H22B
This chip mainly targets the wide temperature range market and industrial multi-media applications, with 32 bit CPU and programmable operating system. The basic operating frequency is 130MHz and the working temperature is -40℃ to +85℃.It has already been used in cars and able to decode standard definition MPEG-2 video.
MB86H20C
This chip mainly targets the cable market with CPU main frequency>200MHz. Its 2 independent hardware decoders can descramble/demultiplex 3 transport streams at the same time. Apart from supporting EPG menu, it features Picture in Picture, PVR and various application requirements. Its high speed USB2.0 OTG controller offers more choices for functions extension. The embedded Java virtual machine has passed the TCK authentication of SUN, and can run standalone network games. It is applicable to one way and two way networks, and is the best option for interact TV and enhanced set top boxes.
MB86H35
This chip mainly targets the portable applications, and it has been used in the global terrestrial market. It can decode Video/Audio of MPEG-2 format with the CPU frequency>200MHz in Micro 9mm*9mm package, and because of its advanced process and low power consumption, many companies adopted it and put out PND, handset TV products.
MB86H60
As a single chip for high definition decoding, MB86H60 targets the cable, satellite and terrestrial markets. It can decode full high definition video in MPEG2 or H.264 format, and the resolution is as high as 1920×1080 , and supports HDMI/HDCP, Dolby C3/DD+, AAC, etc. With internal high speed USB2.0OTG controller and Ethernet, and featuring DDR2 memory, it is a high function/price ratio solution for high definition STB/iDTV.
Codec/Transcoder Series
MB86H51
As an H.264 high definition encoding/decoding chip, the resolution of MB86H51 is up to 1080i. Its perfect video control technology and unique arithmetic reduces the noise of video frequency compression and realizes the transmission of high definition video frequency in a confined bandwidth. With 2 internal 256MFCRAM, it cut down the cost and reduced power consumption. MB86H51 is widely used in the area of digital camera, HD video recorder, security monitoring, video encoder, and head-end broadcasting devices.
MB86H52
As a transcoder chip, MB86H52 can transcode the high definition MPEG-2 TS into H.264 format, or , down high data rate TS into low data rate TS. MB86H52 can extend the working hours of a video recorder to over 2 to 5 times as longer as it is used in the HDD recording devices. Its unique image fidelity technology insures the quality of the video frequency after the code transcoding. With the internal H.264 Codec,customers can extend to more applications. It is applicable to DVR, and video transcoder devices.
