Process Technology
At the core of successful development of system LSIs is uncompromising materials selection. Since 1977, Fujitsu has been at the forefront of leading edge process technologies.
In mainstream CMOS ASICs, Fujitsu offers six families catering to applications requiring from 30K to 14M gates. These include sea-of-gates, embedded arrays and standard cells options. The advanced 0.18 micron (drawn) technology has been in production since 3Q 1999 and the emerging 0.11 micron (drawn) technology will be in production by end 2001.
Fujitsu’s advanced mixed signal ASIC capabilities utilise triple-well process for better noise immunity between analogue and digital signals. Fujitsu’s library of analogue functions can be fully integrated with the mainstream CMOS processes, in the same ASIC series as the standard digital libraries are implemented.
In the field of embedded memories, Fujitsu offers synchronous SRAM and SDRAM building blocks for higher levels of system integration.
