Fujitsu Microelectronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (FMC) was established in August 2003 as Fujitsu’s semiconductor business representative in China. Headquartered in Shanghai, it has branch offices in Beijing and Shenzhen to provide sales and service support to customers throughout China. FMC offers an extensive range of products from microcontroller, application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), application-specific standard product (ASSP), system-on-chip (SoC) to system memory, that can be supplied as product or complete solution. Due to major expansion, Fujitsu Microelectronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (FMC) is now looking for qualified professionals to fill up the following positions.

Job Title

Document Engineer (Translator)

Job Responsibilities:

1. You are required to prepare English/Chinese data sheets, hardware manuals and etc, and translate Japanese or English data sheets and hardware manuals into English/Chinese;
2. You are also needed to assist other staffs for Japanese/English/Chinese translation and setup/maintain the documentation database and the filing system.

Requirements:

1. A Degree or above in a relevant field (Translation, English, Japanese studies);
2. A pass in CET6 or above, CET8 is preferable;
3. High Japanese language proficiency would definitely be an advantage;
4. At least 3 years’ working experience in translation or technical writing, preferably in semiconductor or technical products industry;
5. High level of English/Chinese language skills;
6. Sound knowledge of PC.

Special Requirements:

1. An English cover letter should be written in A4 sized Microsoft WORD format with the following content.
   (1) A brief self introduction and history of working experiences, in particular translation.
   (2) At least 250 words.
2. One full set of formal CV/Resume in English and Chinese for this position.
