Fujitsu Microelectronics Shows its Cutting-edge Products on IIC-China 2009

Shanghai, February 29, 2009 — The 14th International IC-China Conference & Exhibition (IIC-China) will be held at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on February 26, 2009. Fujitus Microelectronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will exhibit its microcontrollers, digital audios/videos, Foundary/COTs, analog and memory, and fully demonstrate the latest soluctions for automotive electronics, digital high-definition TV and wafer foundry. In addition, Edwin Kwong, senior Vice President of Asia Pacific Area for Fujitsu Microelectronics, will make a keynote speech – Composition of Competitive Edge for Commerical Semiconductor – on the moring of February 26, 2009. Please visit Fujitsu Microelectronics at Booth 2D01.

First of all, as for microcontroller field, IDB-1394 bus controller and high-performance graphic display controller (GDC) will be exhibited. These advanced products not only can be applied to rear seat entertainment system, but also can be widely used for automotive/ aerospace/seafaring infotainment and navigation, instrument display, and automotive/seafaring embedded PC system. Furthermore, the newly-released MB95200 series of 8-bit high-performance micro-controller with low pin count will be exhibited.

Digital audio/video is one of the most important segments for Fujitsu Microelectronics. We will exhibit the enhanced interactive/dual-mode set-top-box solutions: standard-definition digital TV multi-decoder chip MB86H01, full high-definition digital TV multi-decoder chip MB86H60, standard-definition TV decoder chip MB86H20C, etc. In addition, high-performance camera ISP solution MC-3 will be exhibited, features ultra-low-power functions, utilizes high-level image processing technology for camera including camera modules in D-SLR to mobile phone, and supports movie SR.

Wafer foundry and ASIC services for 65nm and 90nm processes from Fujitsu Microelectronics will be one of hot spots in this Conference & Exhibition as well. Fujitsu Microelectronics first realized the volume production of 90nm products as early as 2003 and has taken the world leading place since then. 65nm products were put into mass production in 2007, 65nm and 90nm RF CMOS in 2008. With its advanced high-performance and low-power processes, the needs of various fields can be met. Furthermore, rich analog IP libraries, CPU cores with high performance-price ratio, and powerful back-end design support can provide our customers with flexible one-stop wafer foundry schemes.

As to memories and analog devices, we will exhibit low-power memory FCRAM as well as DC/DC converter for Li-Fe and Li battery recharging, and simplified power supply solution for large-sized TFT-LCD panels.

Andy Chang, Marketing Director of Asia Pacific Area for Fujitsu Microelectronics, said:” Fujitsu Microelectronics always commits to the development and promotion of new technologies and new products, and continually offer more comprehensive and excellent solutions to our customers. We sincerely hope to strengthen the cooperation with industry partners through International IC-China Conference & Exhibition and further realize the localized support and service.”
