Fujitsu Microelectronics Cup MCU Contest 2006 Lifts Its Veil

Shanghai, April 26, 2006 — Fujitsu Microelectronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. announced that, the Fujitsu Microelectronics Cup MCU Contest 2006 sponsored by Fujitsu Microelectronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and supported by EDN China media lifted its veil recently, with the players falling into college group and social group, among which, the college group contest was supported by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

Aiming to lead and boost the development and promotion of Fujitsu Microelectronics MCU in terms of design technology and application, this contest is mainly focused on the application of Fujitsu 8-bit MCU chip in PC peripheral equipments, small home appliances, simple industrial applications and game products. It is open to all the country, and formally started to accept contest application from April 5, 2006. The players are requested to submit technical documents of their design plan to the organization committee, and those who pass the preliminary will enter the final. The judge committee is composed of senior technologists in the industry who will make evaluation on each design plan.

The awards include honors and prizes, and excellent design plans will be recommended for publication on related domestic and foreign professional media. All players who enter the final will be given the priority of the practice or work opportunity with Fujitsu Microelectronics.
