Fellow Hideo Kuwahara of Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd. was engaged as Visiting Professor of School of Electronic Engineering of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
On September 6, 2007, President Kazuo Murano of Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd., Chairman Fujitsu R&D Center Co., Ltd., General Manager Yukio Takeda, Vice General ManagerTakeshi Yamamura et al called at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, met President Lin Jintong, and attended the visiting professor engagement ceremony for Mr. Hideo Kuwahara. At the ceremony, President Lin Jintong issued letter of appointment to Mr. Hideo Kuwahara. Professor Ji Yuefeng of School of Telecommunications Engineering and relevant leaders of International Section and Foreign Affairs Section attended the ceremony. After the ceremony, Mr. Hideo Kuwahara delivered a lecture on cutting edge subject, entitled “Optical Communications Technology Toward Broadband Network”.
