Fujitsu Group Environmental Action Plan (Stage VIII)

To set specific targets for putting Fujitsu Group Environmental Policy into practice, the Fujitsu Group formulated medium-term action plans.

For the period FY 2016-2018, Fujitsu has formulated and is enacting the Fujitsu Group Environmental Action Plan (Stage VIII).

Fujitsu Group endeavors to help hold the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2 degree Celsius, as adopted in the Paris Agreement at COP21, while striving to achieve zero emissions as a long term goal.

Through our Environmental Action Plan Stage VIII, which strengthen even further our Stage VII initiatives, we will contribute to society through the development of ICT solutions and reduce the environmental impacts of our business.
We improve customers' and society's sustainability through deploying our ICT services and enhancing our products' energy and resource efficiency. We also reduce our own greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impact throughout the value chain.

Our Society

(2) Develop innovative technologies that address environmental issues
Improve environmental performance of products throughout their lifecycle (3) Achieve top-level energy efficiency of more than 50% of the newly developed products.
(4) Promote eco design for resource saving and circulation and increase resource efficiency of newly developed products by 15%
(5) Maintain over 90% resource reuse rate of business ICT equipment
