NETSMART® 500 Element Manager

The NETSMART 500 Element Manager locally or remotely manages all Fujitsu network elements. Its Graphical User Interface (GUI) makes provisioning, maintenance and troubleshooting a simple, efficient process. The NETSMART 500 Network Element Manager enables you to quickly turn up Ethernet, Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM), SDH and SONET services.

The NETSMART 500 software supports graphical shelf views, equipment and facility provisioning, alarm surveillance, software download, remote memory backup/restore capabilities and cross-connect provisioning.

The NETSMART 500 system provides rich, context-sensitive documentation, such as the Unit Description and Alarm Troubleshooting Guides. These interactive guides save you the effort of searching through hundreds of pages of information by putting the information you need at your fingertips as you work to provision NEs or correct faults.

No TL1 Knowledge Needed
The NETSMART 500 software allows support personnel to provision, maintain and upgrade Fujitsu networks without the need for TL1 knowledge. It is supported on a Windows laptop or desktop, connecting directly to network elements via an Ethernet Local Area Network (LAN) cable or RS-232 serial cable.
