Joe Snayd serves as senior vice president of human resources for Fujitsu Network Communications Inc. Joe’s professional career began in the labor relations department of the Republic Steel Corporation. He later served as vice president of human resources for Wilton Enterprises in Chicago, Illinois, and as director of human resources for the Burger King Corporation in Miami. After a 16-year tenure at the Pillsbury Company, Joe joined Fujitsu in 1987 to expand the company’s human resources department.
Joe is actively involved in numerous community and business organizations. He is current chairman of the advisory board of the Methodist Richardson Medical Center and a board member of Methodist Health Systems, as well as a past chairman of the board of directors for the Baylor/Richardson Medical Center. He is an advisory board member for the Community Credit Union and a past chairman of the board of directors for the Richardson (Texas) Chamber of Commerce. He is chairman of the board of Neighborhood Youth and Family Counseling of Richardson and a member of the Richardson ISD Education for Excellence board. Joe is also one of four founding members of the greater Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC). Through the leadership of the MTBC, Richardson has become a world-class center for both telecommunications and technology businesses such as Fujitsu Network Communications.
Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from Kent State University.
