George Chase brings significant telecom industry experience and leadership to his current role as executive advisor to Fujitsu Network Communications Inc. His communications career began with a 16-year tenure at AT&T Network Systems (now Alcatel-Lucent), where he had several assignments with increasing responsibility. He went on to Rockwell Transmission Systems, Inc. to serve as director of product management, central region sales director and, ultimately, as vice president of sales.

In 1990, George joined Fujitsu Network Transmission Systems, Inc. as senior vice president of sales and marketing. In this role, he was responsible for all transmission and switching product sales, business management and marketing. When Fujitsu Network Communications formed in 1996, George was appointed to an identical position within the new company. In April 1997, he was promoted to the position of executive vice president of sales and marketing. After a two-and-a-half-year period at Hook Partners, a Dallas-based venture capital firm, George returned in 2002 to become Chief Operating Officer at Fujitsu Network Communications, a position he held until 2010.

George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) from Lamar University (where he is a member of their Advisory board) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Oklahoma City University.
