Touch sensor technology has made the explosion in seamless touch design in mobile devices such as phones and MP3 players possible. The low-power and fast-processing FMA112x Touch Sensor Controller converts capacitance generated by the human body and conductive touch pad to digital data – with no analog processing. The device uses the latest technology available by sensing the change in capacitance when touched by a finger and supports multi-touch with a wide array of gestures like scrolling, flicking and simultaneous buttons. The FMA112x touch sensor controller is developed and owned by ATLab Inc., South Korea, and is distributed by Fujitsu Microelectronics America, Inc.
