The Fujitsu 12-port 10Gbps Ethernet Switch Chip

The next generation Fujitsu high density switch chip embeds 12 high bandwidth full duplex 10Gbps ports into a single integrated small foot print package. Each port has the flexibility to support either 10Gbps serial, XAUI or CX-4.In addition, the use of adaptive equalization on each port can be used to increase reach for XAUI, CX-4 and 10Gbps serial applications as well as eliminating the need for external re-timer circuits thus reducing board space, power consumption and cost.
