FlexRay - Solution by Fujitsu
For automotive networking applications Fujitsu is expanding its portfolio with a new, high-integration, low power series of
16-bit MCUs, the 16FX family, along with the new MB91F465XA FlexRay controller for driver-assistance applications. There
is also a new member of the 32-bit F2MC family, the MB91F467B, which was designed in close cooperation with automotive suppliers.

SK-91F467-FLEXRAY starter kit
FlexRay starter kit: SK-91F467-FLEXRAY
Product Info
The SK-91F467-FLEXRAY is a multifunctional starter kit for the Fujitsu 32-bit Flash microcontroller MB91F467D series and Fujitsu
FlexRay stand-alone communication controller MB88121. Together with the Softune Workbench Monitor debugger this single board
is an autonomous platform for the development and testing of software. Alternatively, the starter kit provides a plug-in for
an emulator for the MB91F460 family.
The starter kit is especially equipped for the analysis and use of the FlexRay bus system. The DECOMSYS::COMMSTACK driver library allows easy access to the FlexRay Communication Controller (MB88121). Pre-compiled examples free the user from own developments and demonstrate the capabilities of FlexRay. However with the configuration tool FlexConfig® the user can design his own communication matrix and generate the initialization code for the FlexRay Communication Controller (CHI files). The starter kit enables the designer to immediately start developing software for his application even before his own target system is available.
Stand-alone Solution
The FlexRay ASSP, the first FlexRay product by Fujitsu, will become available in Q3 2005. The device will provide host interfaces for a large variety of host processors.
The first MCUs with integrated FlexRay will be available in 2006. The devices will be manufactured in 0.18μm embedded Flash technology, enabling them to run at more than 100MHz system clock. To fit the requirements of automotive applications, the devices will feature full 5-volt capabilities for I/Os, analog parts and supply voltage while the core itself will run at 1.8 volts from an integrated regulator.
